A recent trip to Taupo provided the perfect chance to stop by Storehouse Taupo. The former workshop-turned eatery has retained its old industrial feel through its high ceilings, exposed beams and lighting. The white concrete interior walls are adorned with old bicycles and good, gorgeous greenery.
After opening in 2014, the eatery’s original decor has undergone a refurbishment and the front roller door have been replaced with bifold doors, perfect for those long lazy days soaking in the beautiful Taupo sun.
Open Monday to Sunday, the cafe, kitchen and store stocks RAINS jackets, Just another Fisherman apparel and Bellroy wallets including a range of kitchen and living products.
Serving Kokako fairtrade organic coffee and seasonal soul food, make sure to stop by 14 Runanga Street next time you’re in Taupo and see what all the fuss is about – you’ll thank me.
